Brain Images of Normal Subjects

Administration fee

A fixed, flat rate-administration fee of £2,000 will be charged for all approved requests, with additional costs for unusually complex requests that require high administrative time to deliver. Funding will go towards BRAINS Imagebank costs, data extraction and day–to–day maintenance of the BRAINS Imagebank.

The Brains Imagebank administration fee is waived for SINAPSE members in Scottish universities. Applicants from developing and low-middle income countries may be eligible for a reduced charge.

Data can only be accessed on-line for the duration agreed with the BRAINS Imagebank Steering Committee. Should the need arise to extend this period the BRAINS Imagebank should be notified; extensions of more than 25% of the planned duration will need committee approval.

The administration fee is a non-refundable, one-time cost.
